Strategic Procurement & Management Consultancy

Getting it right first time

Time spent at the beginning of a project selecting the most appropriate procurement option will reap rewards later.

We can help delivering a project to the agreed quality standard, completion date and budget.

Strategic Procurement

Construction projects involve risk, which must be identified early and strategies implemented to remove or reduce this. Any residual risk must be allocated to the best party able to manage that risk.

Morecraft Drury are experienced in identifying the correct procurement strategy with our clients so as to maximise the contributions of all the project team including supply chain members and stakeholders.

We have advised a number of local authority, social landlords, the metropolitan police, energy companies and contractors in the procurement of schemes using collaborative procurement techniques, supply chain management and forms of contract that promote win-win outcomes.

Our staff have been involved over a number of years with renowned construction industry bodies such as the Strategic Forum for Construction and Constructing Excellence in the development of a collaborative working "Integration Toolkit". The toolkit can be found on the Strategic Forum website.

We have undertaken on behalf of clients the implementation of supply chain management and incentivised contracts through the use of key performance indicators to measure performance. We have undertaken procurement on behalf of clients that satisfy the EU procurement regulations and procurement under "Best Value"
